Wondering What’s After Your BoardConnect Training?
Stay Connected, Keep Learning, & Join a Board!

Your BoardConnect training is the beginning of your journey as a board member and nonprofit leader. As an alumnus, you have access to ongoing programs, networking events, and more. We’ve developed a checklist to provide you with beneficial next steps to consider as you start searching for a board to join.

5 Steps to Take After Completing BoardConnect

Board Peer Circles are a great way to learn from and network with experienced board members within the Greater Mercer County area. Peer circles are open and free to BoardConnect alumni.

LeadershipConnect webinars feature nonprofit experts speaking on a variety of timely topics related to the nonprofit sector. These free webinars are a great way to stay informed and continue your learning.

Meet & Greets are held at the conclusion of each BoardConnect program and are open to all BoardConnect alumni regardless of whether you’ve attended one in the past. Nonprofits from the Greater Mercer County area who are actively seeking new board members attend, and it is a great opportunity to learn about current and future board opportunities. Register for our upcoming Meet & Greet.

Share your experience with colleagues and friends who may want to join a board or who might be interested in the training.
